\nAdrian George Sahlean consistently chose the challenging path, approaching with courage the essence of the Romanian soul. His mission was to translate into the English-speaking world the \u201cuntranslatable\u201d poetry that defines the national spirit.<\/p>\n
In 1997, his translation of Miori\u021ba became a cornerstone of his doctoral thesis in psychoanalysis. Driven by a desire to make this cultural treasure accessible to a broader audience, he decided to publish a book for the general public. This work not only includes his English rendition of the ballad but also builds a transcultural bridge, offering a profound interpretation of its timeless message.<\/p>\n
